What is a soft skill?

Soft skills are fundamental skills to ensure safety, minimise risk and maximise the physical experience had by shibari practitioners. This includes core knowledge around safety, consent, risk profiles, anatomy, communication, and understanding the equipment and techniques used for shibari.

This class aims to achieve an increase in core knowledge and arm newer shibari practitioners with the skills required to practice more safely, prior to the application of rope upon the body.

There is no prerequisite for this class; it is aimed towards beginner level, however most skill levels can benefit from refreshing core knowledge. 

What to bring: you may find it useful to bring a notepad/pen. Rope/shears are not required, but recommended if you plan to attend T.I.E.S.
